The gut is home for microflora.It plays a major role in the digestion of food, helping in the breakdown of complex substances in to simpler forms, which can be easily absorbed by the body and also has a major influence on the ability of the shrimp/prawn to resist disease and to recover from infections especially those of digestive tract.

1. UNIMAX acidifies the gut of shrimp/prawn and prevents the growth of pathogens like, clostridia, streptococci, E.coli, salmonella, and vibrio species.
2. UNIMAX is capable of releasing enzymes like Amylase, phytase, protease, lipase and cellulase, and beta gluconase in substantial quantities along with B group of vitamins and antibacterial substances like, acidocin, bacteriosin, polymixin etc.
3. UNIMAX is enriched with Vitamin C to improve weight gain and to boost immune response and to fight against stress and disease in the shrimp/prawn.
4. UNIMAX converts unavailable phosphorous (present in the feed in the form of phytates) in to available phosphorous to enable the shrimp/prawn digest and assimilate and to improve the digesion of protinacious materials to take care of the loose shell syndrome.
5. UNIMAX helps in digestion of fiber present in the feed to maintain proper collagen synthesis to maintain cell membrane firm and promotes firm muscle growth.
6. UNIMAX improves the efficacy of digestion, absorption, and assimilation of nutrients and prevent metabolic disorders and corrects soft shell, loose shell and blue shell syndrome, by strengthening hepatopancreas functions.
