Dissolved oxygen is the most important and critical parameter that decides the success in aquaculture. Dissolved oxygen levels are to be regularly monitored and should be maintained at the optimum level. Lower dissolved oxygen (below 3 PPM) level is harmful to the growth and survival of prawn/ fish and death rates can reach 50% or higher.
